At any rate, while I was gone, East Bay Magazine readers voted “Escape from the Asylum” the Best of the East Bay 2022 in the odd category of Theater troupe/Performance. Now, why they would award a best of 2022 when 2022 is still ongoing is anyone’s guess. But I will take it!
