Patricia Milton's plays have been performed in New York, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, Jackson, MS, Marble Falls, TX, and places in between. Her The Only Virgin in Jubilee County, winner of the 2007 Hill Country Playwriting Festival, premiered at the Hill Country Community Theatre in Texas, will be performed by the inmates of the Iowa women's penitentiary, and is published by Eldridge Publishers under the title, A Hitch in Her Plans. Her short plays Real/Not Real and Busybody were seen in the 2007 and 2008 Bay Area One Acts Festival, and published by Three Wise Monkeys. Pat Craig of the Contra Costa Times called her short play Busybody "a disturbing slice of life . . . a chilling tale designed for maximum emotional discomfort." This play is published by Original Works Publishing. Her short plays on the subject of torture have been seen in the SF Fringe Festival and Sheherezade. Her latest full-length, Solving Sunflowers, was developed at RAW Works in Ross, CA and won Third Prize in the 2009 Eudora Welty New Play Competition. It was chosen for workshopping at the 2010 New Frontier Theatre Festival. Driven, a Christmas comedy with a wicked edge, received a staged reading at the Playwrights Center of San Francisco June 16, 2009. Her latest full-length play is Believers. She is co-author with Andrew Black of three full-length comedies: Porn Yesterday, Strange Bedfellows, and It's Murder, Mary! which premiered at the New Conservatory Theater Center, San Francisco, in May 2008.
